I have been to Makira quite a few times and I can see why these guys name the song sweet banana. Makira has about 600 species of bananas, and thats what makes Makira so special from any other Islands in the Solomons...If you want to try all varieties of bananas, come and visit Makira and I can guarantee you that after you tasted one, you won't want to leave Makira, thats why I cannot forget Makira...SORE MAKIRA !
